Grow overall AV revenue and profit, while achieving customer satisfaction from pre-production through post-event phases of service. Solicit new and repeat business through a proactive sales approach that incorporates consultative selling skills. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key personnel and clients to enhance the overall business relationships.
Key Job Responsibilities
Solicit and secure business for OPAV through a proactive, consultative sales approach and utilize OPAV’s sales process and sales standards. Obtain definite bookings from the venue, assign opportunities, proactively contact customers, and create professional bids and proposals by actively using OPAV resources and marketing collateral. Utilize an understanding of costs associated with sales, including labor, commission and equipment outsourcing and work within established profitability guidelines.
BS/BA or 3+ years of equivalent experience required
2+ years sales required
Prior sales experience in audiovisual, technology, event, or hospitality experience preferred
Knowledge of sales process required in addition to the ability to read and decipher financial reports and records
Minimum of 1 year of supervision or leadership experience preferred
Technical aptitude, computer proficiency and ERP knowledge preferred. We utilize software such as:
Flex Rental Solutions, Vivien, VectorWorks, Microsoft Office, and Google G-Suite across our sales staff
Superior communication and presentation skills
Director of Sales, Senior Sales Manager or Sales Manager with 2-3 years experience
